Nordatlantik, Bretagne bis Nordkap, Nord- und Ostsee
Europäische Art mit sehr vielen Funden rund um die Britischen Inseln und in Nordsee und Kattegat. Einige Funde vom Nordkap und Island sowie aus Ostkanada. Im Wattenmeer überall, in der Ostsee zerstreut, aber bis zu den Ålandinseln anchgewiesen.
