Abundance	no records of this species , Distribution map
Distribution	Nordhalbkugel, Spitzbergen bis Frankreich, Nordsee und Kattegat Zirkumpolar auf der Nordhalbkugel, nach Süden ausstrahlend bis Frankreich, Japan und Kanada. Einzelbeobachtungen wandernder Tiere bis weit in den Bottnischen Meerbusen und im Rhein bis Duisburg.
Status	Irrgast vagrant
